About the event
Comfrey Films has invited a small group (7 donors!) of New Legacy Lab donors to join them in solidarity at the kick-off of the Black Trans Short Film Festival. This beautiful opening ceremony features an in-house curation of short films supported by Comfrey Films, and an inspiring panel discussion on Alternative Film Ecosystems and how we can carve out new paths for Black queer and trans voices to be heard in this moment.
New Legacy Lab is hosting a Post-Ceremony Treats + Coversations gathering in the American Tobacco District afterwards where we will debrief from the experience of attending the BTSFF and what it means to be a donor in solidarity with black trans liberation. Hilary will be making her famous sea salt brownies!
